Punjab Police Jobs 2022 Vacancies:
PTO Helpdesk (JEO)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- BCS, BS (CS/Software engineering), MCS, MSc IT or sixteen-year IT education in the relevant field.
- At least one (01) year of experience relevant to the post applied is required.
- Degree/transcript must be attested from HEC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform system testing/Monitoring in IT/Network applications.
- Actively engage with Huawei Team to resolve IT service issues for operations and projects.
Support and engage in “Root Cause Analysis” for issues and facilitate information requests to various stakeholders - Identify and communicate possible IT process improvements.
- Escalate issues where necessary to a higher authority.
- Maintain IT inventory in MDC.
- Execute System-related Installation/Operational Qualification and Validation where required
- Work individually or within a team to support and deliver work assigned.
- Ensure network/computer security and Software deployment for optimal working.
- Provide support to IT colleagues when required for other IT-related tasks.
- Good understanding of networking, software, troubleshooting and problem resolving skills.

PTO (Android Application)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- BCS, BS (CS/Software engineerings), MCS, MSc IT or sixteen-year IT education in the relevant field

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing and developing advanced applications for the Android and iOS platforms Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Development and maintenance of the following applications:
- Public Safety (Android and iOS)
- Women Safety (Android and iOS)
- MDT E-Challan Application

PTO (GIS)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- BS/MSc (GIS) from an HEC-recognized university.
- At least one (01) year experience relevant to the post applied is required.
- Degree/transcript must be attested by HEC
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizes Geographic Information System techniques to provide a better understanding of certain variables in a given geographic location. Extracts data from GIS software and uses varying analysis methods to arrive at results.
- Identification of Roads of Lahore with the help of Police personnel of Every Police Station of Lahore.
- Managing the Boundaries of Lahore Divisions, Police Stations and Beats. Collection of POIs for the map of Lahore to enrich with well known buildings and points for the better understanding of operators.
- Interpret maps, manipulate and understand digital land data, and manage data entered into a GIS database.
- Creating and maintaining the structures necessary for GIS data storage;
- Using tools to join together different GIS datasets and create new information or investigate patterns,
- Desk-based data capture (digitizing) to convert paper maps to GIS datasets, for example, to record the location of Roads, Hospitals, Educational Institutes, Traffic Signals etc.
- Prepare the Layouts of Police Communication Officer’s Routes for smooth and Efficient Transportation.
- Keep tracks of PPIC3 building assets by marking their position on map with the help of paper layouts Prepare Layouts of Optical Fiber for the connection of Camera Sites and Police Station of the particular city with the IC3 Centre.
- Marking of routes of VVIP Movement on GIS Map to help the Security Agencies.
- Performing other tasks as directed by the senior management.
PTO SQA
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of sixteen (16) years of education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecom Engineering, and Electrical Engineering from a HEC recognized university.
- At least one (01) year experience relevant to the post applied is required.
- Experience in Software Testing is desirable.
- Degree/transcript must be attested from HEC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review RFP requirements and specifications to develop test plans.
- Create detailed test cases with Vendor.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved and another testing as well.
- Demo/Training to supervisors and PCOs for reporting.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet the needs.
- Made different scenarios for failed test cases.
- Conduct surveys for user usability testing.
- Monitor testing process results and report to concern authorities.
- Document Control.
- Performing other tasks as directed by the senior management
PTO(.NET)
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- BCS, BS (CS/ Software engineering), MCS, MSc IT from an HEC-recognized university.
- At least one (01) year of experience relevant to the post applied is required.
- Degree/transcript must be attested from HEC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Producing code using .NET languages (ASP.NET, C#, WPF) Upgrading, configuring and debugging CAD and Financial systems
- Providing technical support for web, and desktop applications
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. Performing other tasks as directed by the senior management.

Qualification & Experience
- Sixteen (16) years of education from a recognized university.
- Senior Superintendent of Police (BS-19) with a minimum of eight (08) years of police service in a supervisory position and exposure to Policy Formulation/Policy Analysis, Organizational Development and Organizational Management.
- Exposure of international learning environment.

Responsibilities
- To strategically oversee the planning, implementation & PPIC3 operations under the direct supervision of the COO/PSCA.

- To supervise and coordinate the work of all the staff appointed at IC3 Centre.

SP- IC3 Operations
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Superintendent of Police (BS-18) with Minimum of six (06) years of experience in a Police organization.
- Exposure to an international learning environment.
- Preference to be given to officers with technical education.
Responsibilities
- To support the Senior Management for smooth and efficient operations of the PPIC3 Centre
- To provide skill/expertise for development of the contingency plans for major event planning.
- To assist Senior Management with the development of a detailed Centre operation plan.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of other staff posted in PPIC3 including CTD, Traffic and Staff of other agencies.
- Hold the officers responsible against pre-defined performance criteria of IC3 operations.
- Coordination with other law enforcement agencies to ensure the smooth operations of the Centre.
- To assist Senior Management for development of major communications plans.
- To assist Senior Management for development of SOP for each major operational activity of PPIC3 Centre.
- To perform other tasks as directed by the Senior Management / CommanderIC3.
